Maybe Just a Ploy to Show You a Picture

IT!

mommyknows (also the boss of this cool place) tagged me to share six bits of trivia about myself. I'm usually slow to do a meme, but with all of the excitement at my home tonight, I'm grateful for something to do.

1. I ate 1/3 of a Marie Callendar's Razzleberry Pie today. Yeah, stuff it. I have to do my part to support important National Holidays.

2. I was ready to leave the house this morning at eight to go exercise. Since DM wasn't yet home from his night shift, I was going to have to drag Glitter out of bed just to go drop her in the nursery. Then I looked and saw that it was 12 degrees outside--feeling like zero. I decided that all neurons were not properly firing, and I got back in bed. Not a peep from Glitter until 9:45. I love that baby.

3. Did anyone see that show tonight "The Moment of Truth?" I was watching commercials for it, thinking it probably wasn't going to be the most uplifting show, but the tv was still on that channel after Americ@n Idol, so I thought I would just watch it anyway. At that exact moment, my satellite went out. Thanks for sparing the lightning.

4. I can't decide which to laser first--my corneas or my unfairly excessive facial hair. (DG--Sorry if that's TMI)

5. To top off today's ingestion, I had a handful of butter mints for dinner.

6. It's been one winner of a day. Good thing my baby is cute.

I love babies that sleep in so you can sleep on. Aren't we lucky? Also, I think it's perfectly acceptable to ingest 2/3 of a pie in one day. Glitter's glitzy, glamorous headband is the hippest thing ever.

ONE-THIRD. I meant just ONE third of the pie. 33%!!!!!

Oh, crap. I forgot today was National Pie Day. I'm so un-American...

I suppose I could re-instate my patriotism tomorrow.

Oh...what facial hair??

I love the word ploy. Thank you for using.

If you don't get your eyes fixed, you won't have to see any hair. I'm just sayin.

It's good you played it safe and didn't go work out. No need to risk a a synaptic strain or anything, right?

You are too funny!

mk- Thanks, I think so too.

nina- Perhaps you're just distracted by our adorable children when we hang out.

nobody- Save the synapse!

nestle- Thanks.

glitterbaby in a glittery headband. sweet baby. and nice for sleeping in. max does that on occasion and i love it. i would love it more if ava didn't wake up at 7am. you can send me some of those buttermints. i wouldn't mind. and you mentioning the freezing cold weather made me very glad my means for exercising is right here in my warm, warm home.

G'day from Australia,

Love the expression ``the neurons were not firing''. I know what you mean!!

(Came here from B's blog)

Aww, cute cute baby with a glittery band ;)

I saw part of MoT. What and awful show, you didn't miss anything (and I didn't get zapped).

Excessive facial hair vs bad eyes.
I'm going with eyes. Just because that's what I'm doing first (and you can always shave, no?)

Cute babies make up for lots of life's ills.

You could have come over and I would have shared some of my cinnamon hearts. You know, expand the palette.

It's 9:38. I don't see your pie at my house yet.
I'm just sayin'.

I have waaayyyyy too much facial hair. My Primary kids told me I had "Elvis sideburns."

Let's go together, glitter. Maybe we can get a group discount thing going.

Hahahahaha! Well, just for the record, I still think 2/3 of a pie is perfectly fine. Recall all those apple pies from this last fall? Um, yeah. Need I say more?

aubrey- yeah. One day I'm going to have my exercise machine of choice in the home.

david- welcome! Unfortunately I have lots of non-firing neuron episodes.

ncs- I'll probably go with ojos tambien. (thought I'd throw that in there just for you. :) )

compulsive- Don't they?

CQ- You should have called sooner.

carrot- If you didn't live more than 2000 miles from me, I would have SO been there. :)

elastic- I'm in for the group discount option. Know any good places?

hsf- I made up for the uneaten 2/3 the next day. :)

I want me some cinnamon jelly hearts!

Put me down for the group discount on facial hair tambien.

Pretty sure my synapses are busticated some mornings. I'm still not sure how they are all working again.

Coherent thoughts. What are those?
